There is a contract, although it is better described as a service agreement. This agreement serves the purpose of identifying each party's responsibilities in the event that your district chooses to use our services. Even with the contract, the district can decide to not assign any students classes with Ark, or cancel it if they choose to do so.

Generally a student begins working within 48 hours from the time the district registers that student for services with us. The time frame will depend on whether a computer needs to be provided. In order to arrange delivery of a computer, we must contact the parent or guardian, verify the address and be sure there is someone over 18 years of age available to sign for the equipment.

We cannot begin instruction of a student until one of our staff has personally spoken to and explained the program to a parent or guardian.

ARK can deliver virtually just about any course, with the exception of those that require equipment that we cannot provide. For example, we cannot provide art materials for a painting class , or a musical instrument for a band or orchestral group. However, we can often provide a virtual course on the subject so the student can stay up to date with their class.
